1. What kind of data do you require from the kindergarten/childcare?
We require data that includes the names of children and the contact details of their families. This information is submitted in a specific format to ensure privacy compliance. Once this data is received, we set up encrypted accounts for each child, not for each family, ensuring the highest level of privacy protection.
2. How are the children's photos linked to their individual galleries?
We use a sophisticated system that links each child’s photos to their personalized gallery using QR codes. These QR codes are exported from our software based on the data provided by the kindergarten, so the kindergartens do not need to provide them. This ensures that each child's photos are securely and accurately linked to their private gallery.
3. Do the kindergartens need to provide QR codes for the photo session?
No, kindergartens do not need to provide QR codes. Our system automatically generates QR codes based on the data provided by the kindergarten. These QR codes are then used by our photographers to link each child's photos to their respective galleries.
4. Do your photographers require assistance during the photo session?
Our photographers are quite independent and generally do not need assistance. However, if children are not cooperative or do not want to move from activity to activity, we may ask educators to support us by guiding the children. We do not move or force children to do anything specific; we work independently for the most part unless we need a little bit of support from the staff.
5. What happens after the photos are taken?
After the photos are taken, they go through a thorough editing and quality control process before they are uploaded to the child's private galleries. We have multiple levels of quality control to ensure that the final products meet our high standards. Once approved, the photos are uploaded to the child's private galleries for viewing and purchase.
6. How do parents access their child's photos?
Parents receive emails informing them that their child's photos are available for purchase. They can log into their account to view and purchase the photos. If a parent has multiple children, all galleries are linked to one account owned by the parent. Families with siblings also have access to a sibling gallery, which offers exclusive sibling products.
7. Do parents need to make separate purchases if they have multiple children?
No, parents do not need to make separate purchases for multiple children. All galleries are linked to a single account owned by the parent, making it convenient to view and purchase photos for all their children in one place.
8. How do you ensure the quality of the products you offer?
We print all our products in-house, which allows us to maintain strict quality control, ensure quick production times, and offer convenience to our clients. This includes photographic prints, keyrings, puzzles, and other gift items.
9. What is special about the albums you offer to kindergartens?
We offer a signature 6x8-inch album that is custom-manufactured for TMPIC and made in Australia. These albums are designed in collaboration with our team, including teachers and photographers, to provide a memorable product that reflects the time spent at childcare or kindergarten.
10. Do you provide custom keyrings and other gift products for kindergartens?
Yes, we offer keyrings and other gift products. Our keyrings are larger than those offered by most companies, measuring three by two inches, and each keyring includes two (different) photos, as selected by the family. This offers more value compared to the one-photo keyrings provided by other companies.
11. What are the privacy and security measures in place for handling children's photos?
We use encryption to the highest international privacy standards, including GDPR, which is the highest level of privacy and protection in Europe. All data is securely handled to ensure the utmost privacy and protection for the children and their families.
12. What happens if my child is absent on photo day?
We usually try to arrange a make-up session, subject to approval by the kindergarten, availability, and the child being present. Alternatively, we may take photos on the delivery day if pre-arranged.. Contact us to make arrangements for the delivery day make-up session.
13. Is there a way for us to order photos after a certain period of time?
Yes, you can still order photos even after the initial two-week ordering period. We don’t delete the photos, and we do not charge any archival fees for accessing them later on. However, the initial discount available during the first two weeks of ordering may no longer apply.
14. Do you offer any discounts?
Yes, we offer a discount on every gallery for the first two weeks of ordering. This discount coincides with the period we allow for free delivery to the kindergarten. If you do not place your order within this period, you can still purchase the photos at the standard rate. However, free delivery may no longer be available.
15. How long do you hold onto the photos for?
We hold onto the photos indefinitely. There are no archival fees, and parents can access and order photos whenever they choose, even if it’s after the initial ordering period.
16. Do you charge an archival fee for accessing photos after the initial ordering period?
No, we do not charge any archival fees. We believe in providing continued access to the photos without additional costs, so you can order them at your convenience.
17. What if a child does not receive the email or text messages about their photos?
We understand that in today's age, emails and texts may sometimes be overlooked or blocked by spam filters. That's why we provide proof cards to parents who haven’t made any orders by the time of the Kinder Photo Delivery Day. These proof cards include a photo of the child and a QR code linking to their gallery, ensuring that families have another opportunity to view and purchase their photos.
18. Do you offer multi-child discounts?
We do not offer multi-child discounts. However, we do provide a discount on every gallery during the first two weeks of ordering.
19. Why don't you offer commissions to kindergartens?
We do not offer commissions to kindergartens because we want to keep the pricing affordable for families. Given recent inflation, offering commissions would have made the photos more expensive. Instead, we focus on providing high-quality products at reasonable prices.
20. What does TMPIC offer to the kindergarten staff?
We offer each staff member a free portrait of themselves, a free digital photo, and a free group photo print for every group they are in. This is our way of thanking the staff for their cooperation and support during the photo session.
21. What do kindergartens receive as part of the TMPIC service?
Kindergartens receive a staff display with printed data based on their requirements, which helps them comply with government and Department of Education regulations. Additionally, the kindergarten receives a group photo print of every group taken at the kindergarten, with group photos available in multiple sizes.
22. What sizes are available for group photos?
We offer group photos in multiple sizes to suit different preferences and needs. Whether you prefer a smaller print or something larger, we have options available to ensure you get the perfect keepsake.
